Zaccho Dance Theatre offers three distinct Artist in Residence (AiR) programs for the Bay Area dance and performing arts community. These programs provide mentorship, studio time and other critical resources to support the progress and promise of local artists.
Zaccho Studio AiR Program is for outstanding established and emerging artists in the fields of contemporary dance, aerial dance, circus art, and theatre hosted at Zaccho Studio.
Black Futures is a fully subsidized residency program hosted at Zaccho Studio for emerging and mid-career Black performing artists in the fields of dance, aerial arts, and theater who are working at the intersection of art and social change.
Hip Hop Artist Residency & Training (HART) provides training and performance opportunities to Black performing artists with aspirations to build a career in Hip Hop and the performing arts. This program is offered in partnership with PUSH Dance Company at their Sanctuary studio in San Francisco.
