A note from Dazaun:

The intention of ‘amplify’ is to celebrate! On the morning of May 13th I will graduate from California College of the Arts with a Master in Architecture. This event is a moment to celebrate that major milestone and all the healing that has happened along that journey. To be able to pause, reflect, and honor the footprints that I have left on my path.

This interdisciplinary gathering and celebration is beyond anything I envisioned for my graduation. To be able to share this reflection in an intimate setting with those whom I love is a gift that I carry with deep gratitude and respect.

I acknowledge that some folks may not know me personally however this exhibition is a bridge into my world and I invite you to pull up. I invite you to experience that love and healing that exist in the community that has held me so tenderly through many evolutions of my practice over the years.

Thank you to my Zaccho Family for giving me the space to amplify my artistic voice in this way. I am excited to share this vast body of work, and step into this next book of my life with the full support of my community.

Much love, Dazaun S.
